I loved the “mom and pop” eateries sprinkled around the ski resort. I was immediately at ease the moment I stepped inside, away from the elements. It’s amazing what wind will do to a girl’s complexion — ouch! For lunch, I opted for tons of cheese: French onion soup, and mac and cheese. Oh, and I had a brandy cider drink too, which gave me the liquid courage to go down the hill faster… Ah, and many, many, many, beers were had in the evening.
